The EOL Solar Team

Logan Jenkins

Logan is the Founder/Cofounder of three different companies based in Sheridan, WY with a diverse background in advanced materials, the energy sector, and the circular economy.

He began work in energy and the circular economy in 2015 with the American Energy Society in Palo Alto, CA, where he was a Principal Consultant. He began to see many of the end-of-life problems associated with the energy sector through work there, including turbine blade waste, greenhouse gas leaks, and abandoned mines.

Jenkins started a nonprofit community-based organization in March 2021 called Circular, with a focus on art, creativity, and the circular economy. Through Circular, he’s cofounded EOL Solar, focusing on creative solutions for second-life solar panels. EOL Solar was funded by the U.S. Department of Energy in late 2021 through the Solar Prize Round 5 software track. Circular was funded through the National Endowment for the Humanities in early 2022.
